109 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Underground Sounds"

Warning beeps, doors close and train leaves partick subway station. Sound of train leaving echoes along the tracks and another train arrives on the far-side track. Recording: olympus ls3 + built-in mics.

This is a recording of the underground parking garage at our local grocery store in north hollywood, california. You can hear conversations, cars, and shopping carts rattling to cars. Recorded with: matched beyer mc930, sound devices 702t.

Recorded with samson meteor connected to the phone in the moscow metro at 6 a. M. In the train that passed two stations of the lyublinsko-dmitrovskaya line. There were no people in the train car. The sound was refined with adobe audition.

Frequent tube riders may be familiar with the hum that happens between two stops, (i can't remember which two. ) for a moment, it gets a little too loud and freaks you out (around the 1:40 mark). The rest is just tube ambience. Recorded in stereo on a zoom h4n.

I videoed this sound of a subway train in glasgow scotland on the famous "clockwork orange" train as they are called. I used my canon powershot a460 digital camera to video this, i simply took the sound from the video. I was lucky enough to get a good run on this with just a few poeple on board, so there wasn't any other sound apart from the train, the only time you here some movement of feet is when the doors open. Please note, anybody is free to use this sound, you don't have to credit me, but it would be fun to hear how you use my sound if possible. :) here is the link to the type of licence i use. Kind of a continuation on the "world in chains" theme. Here the ghouls are getting ready to seep out through the cracks in the pavement and pay the world up above a ghoulish visit. Oh and don't forget fungus the bogeyman, my favourite raymond briggs character. Try guessing what modules i used. (hint: all but 3 are from makenoise).

Recorded in june 2016 on a hudson yards-bound 7 train in the new york city subway. Towards the end of the recording, at the last stop (34th street–hudson yards), there is mta thank you announcement at the station and for all passengers to alight - i have extracted this announcement as a separate audio download on freesound if that's the sound clip you're interested in!. Recorded with a zoom h2n in 4-channel mode - this is the xy recording only (msg me if you want the raw ms recording!), without a windshield. File has not been modified.

It's a recording of a man operating a chainsaw in a forest near an underground repair station. I've been biking through the forest whe i heard the chainsaw, so i stopped and recorded 7 minutes of him cutting off branches, tembers and walking around a bit. You can heat the chainsaw, natural forest reverb, sometimes a plane flying by or an undergroud train. The recording was made from around 20~30 meters from the sound source. Recorded with a zoom h2 (rear mics, hi gain, 96/24). Originally a 96khz / 24-bit wav file. Converted to flac using audacity.
